The Galle pool which opened in July 2008 is a key link to help children and adults in Galle district to learn to swim. We have three coaches in place and we offer free confidence with water classes to all local schools during school hours, with a swimming squad program currently being implemented for more advanced swimmers.
Out of school hours we offer the pool to the community for private swimming lessons and charge a small fee to help with running costs of the pool.
